Effective September 2026 — AI-assisted draft; not reviewed by a licensed attorney
Movie Snob is meant to be enjoyed by everyone who loves movies, including people who use assistive technology. We are an independent developer, we are still improving, and we would rather be honest about where we stand than claim more than we can back up.
Movie Snob is built with Apple's standard accessibility features in mind: VoiceOver (screen reader), Dynamic Type (larger text sizes), Reduce Motion, Voice Control, and Switch Control. We label buttons and posters for VoiceOver, keep touch targets a comfortable size, and are working to make sure text has enough contrast against its background.
Some parts of the app are not yet as smooth as they should be with assistive technology. In particular, screens that rely on dragging (such as reordering your top movies during setup), animated celebration screens, and a few dense layouts at the very largest text sizes are still being refined. We test with Apple's accessibility tools and fix what we find.
If something in Movie Snob is hard or impossible for you to use, please tell us. Every message goes directly to the developer. Include what you were trying to do, the screen you were on, and which assistive technology you use if you are comfortable sharing it. We aim to reply within five business days and to fix real barriers as quickly as we can.
